Paradox of our time

"Notice the paradox of our time:

* We have bigger houses and smaller families.
* More conveniences but less time.
* We have more degree but less sense.
* More knowledge but less judgment.
* Think twice, any strength push too far becomes a weakness.
* We’ve been all the way to the moon and back but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
* We’ve conquer our space but not the inner space.
* Think twice, how far have you really gone?
* We have higher incomes but lower morals.
* More food but less satisfaction.
* More acquaintances but fewer friends. (check your phone book, friendster, multiply, email add)
* More effort but less success.
* Think twice, more or less?
* These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw-away morality, one night stand, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, quiet, to kill.
* It is a time where there’s much in the show window and nothing in the stock room.
* We’ve clean-up the air but polluted the soul.
* We’ve split the atom but not prejudice.
* We write more but learn less.
* Plan more but accomplish less.
* Are we here to maximize our ego and minimize others?
* We’ve multiplied our possessions but reduced our values.
* We’ve too much, love too seldom and lie to often.
* We’ve learn to make a living but not to live.
* We added years to life not life to years. (lose health to make money then lose money to restore health)
* Got another equation? Think twice.
* We have taller buildings but shorter tempter. (drive to EDSA, Espana, Commomwealth see what i mean…)
* Wider roads but narrower viewpoints.
* We spend more but have less.
* We buy more but we enjoy it less.
* How do you measure life? By quality or quantity?
* Think twice."
